				Concept
This artwork reflects the events of war in Cambodia during the Khmer Rouge regime. The government of that era heavily prioritized war, disregarding the value and freedom of its citizens. Instead, it imposed extreme oppression, forced labor, and widespread killings of innocent Khmer people.
Through this piece, the artist seeks to awaken the spirit of younger generations, encouraging them to pursue knowledge and work towards peace and national development. Additionally, the artwork invites viewers to reflect on their current society and question whether they truly experience freedom in their own lives today.
