Concept
This artwork aims to depict the actions of a man boiling palm sugar, a scene that reflects both the ancient and the modern. The artist wishes to emphasize the benefits of the Khmer sugar palm tree as well as the Khmer national identity, as people must always live in harmony with nature, whether now or in the future. For the next generation of Cambodians, nature must be loved and protected so that it is not lost.
