“This is the sacred valley of surprises in Haa. The valley of Haa is referred to as Hay. The Choeky word is used to express breathtaking surprises. This painting shows that Bhutan is a beautiful country with forest. I painted Haa valley because that valley shows me the beauty of nature with mountains as the background. While painting I felt like I was in the Haa valley enjoying its beautiful nature.”
